St. Joseph Health Radiologic Assistant - Part Time/Nights in Lubbock, Texas
Job Summary:Under the supervision of a radiologic technologist and the diagnostic supervisor, assist the technologist with the performance of radiologic procedures.Essential Functions:1. Provide assistance to the technologist in the set up and performance of radiologic procedures.2. Perform film-processing activities such as replenishing film in the supply magazines, replenishing chemicals.3. Prepare room for the next procedure and replenish supplies as necessary.4. Monitor patients as needed.5. Deliver films to the physicians.6. Prepare barium; instruct patients on prep and dose patients when necessary.7. Transports patients as necessaryMinimum Position Qualifications:Education:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Position Qualifications:Previous patient care experience preferred.Currently enrolled as a radiologic technology student desired
