Position Description Designs, implements and manages an assigned program.
Typical duties can include but are not limited to:
Identify funding opportunities
conduct program assessments
prepare program reports
oversee and manage program marketing and communications
manage program databases
supervise program staff
plan research activities
coordinate program events
participate in strategic planning
manage program files
establish program standards and objectives
direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs
develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met
oversee program budget
ensure goals and objectives of grants are met
assists in proposal writing
comply and analyze program statistics
Major/Essential Functions
Responsible for collection & coordination of all information necessary to produce accurate and timely departmental reports and data warehouse needs (debt service, historical data, Micros - CS Gold comparison.)
Budget Prep Studies - Prepare studies on current year and up to 4 years prior. Analysis needed to assist with upcoming year budget proposal. Major emphasis on labor, construction projects, COGS, and revenue.
Analysis of departmental trends which would include sales, vendors, goods purchased, purchasing trends and units or grouping of units.
Help with the NACUFS Operating Performance Benchmark that is completed annually as part of Hospitality Services membership with NACUFS.
Prepare and implement new pricing including market analysis, cost of goods analysis, recipe and product maintenance.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Analyzing Data or Information - Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and database software.
Mathematics - Using mathematics to solve problems. Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others. Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Some experience with 10-Key, food service recipes and inventories is preferred.
Deductive Reasoning - The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
