This Is A Remote Based Position

The Mgr. Implementation is responsible for the development, execution, and management of new client implementation for the Group Retiree Solutions business segment.

Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the development of management control processes for customers and implementation plans to ensure customer needs are met, contractual obligations are attained or exceeded, and quality improvement initiatives are executed when needed.

  • Ensures completion of all critical deliverables from multiple disciplines within Anthem to assure timely and accurate implementation of our customers' benefit plans.

  • Oversees the development of responses to proposals specific to new client implementation activities. Develops budgets and retention goals for unit.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

  • BA/BS and 8-10 years of experience managing business operations and/or customer relationships; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • MBA or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation are preferred.

  • State licensure to sell health benefits is preferred.

  • Experience in new client implementation, particularly for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D, is highly desirable.

  • Excellent customer service skills required.

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required.

  • Strong problem-solving, project management and PC skills required.

  • Travel required
