Texas Employer General Laborer/ Production Worker in LUBBOCK, Texas

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Production Worker will work closely with the Management Team and be responsible for supporting the day to day activities of the Production Plant. This position is responsible to evaluate and maintain the quality standards and systems as set forth by the customer and by the company. This role will require effective and timely communication with the team and departmental managers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assure that all Regulatory, SQF and Sanitary practices are followed. Assure that the weekly production schedule is completed. Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA Standards. Keep work areas clean and organized. Work as part of the team. Follow all Company Rules and Policies. Work with Team Members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed. Continuous standing in one location for long periods (2-3 hours before break). Measures for Success: 100 % correct orders, orders fulfilled accurately and timely. Daily production goals achieved based on customer specs and orders. Weekly poundage goals achieved based on customer orders. Work with team members maintaining daily sanitation by cleaning work area at end of shift. Corporate Compliance Maintain strict adherence to all corporate policies and procedures as defined by Hampton Farms guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 year s production manufacturing experience preferred. Must will be willing to work overtime and weekends.
