Position Description Performs responsible and complex duties associated with a specialized function of a section of clerical employees. A thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and methods for the area of responsibility is required. Initiative and independent judgments are frequently exercised in formulating procedures or methods, and in program coordination. Work is performed under general supervision within University policies and procedures. Job performance is based upon overall operation effectiveness.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Supervise/manage events at the Hance Chapel, McKenzie-Merket and Frazier alumni facilities, ensuring superior guest service and satisfaction

  • Coordinate details and plan logistics with customers for their events

  • Follow up on AR reports and contact clients as needed

  • Train and develop student assistants

  • Assist in a day to day operations including answering phones, booking events, meeting with clients and corroboration support staff activism

Required Qualifications Proficiency in written and mathematical processes as may be reflected by the completion of high school or the equivalent. Two years progressively responsible clerical experience. Additional education and/or related experience to equal two years may substitute on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field.

Minimum Hire Rate 9.86

Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
