Position Description Performs duties in the areas of warehousing, moving, delivery and general maintenance.

Major/Essential Functions Assist co-workers and supervisors during annual inventory by verifying, counting and recording counts on central warehouse stock and bring discrepancies to the supervisors' attention immediately.

Have a positive personal conduct and support of the University’s Affirmative Action and sexual harassment policies and supports the Continuous Improvement philosophy of the Operations Division and the safety program through training and compliance.

Ability to enforce safety standards and procedures relating to hazardous chemicals and general

warehouse operations. Ability to use Microsoft office products and proprietary computer programs effectively.

Delivery of material, supplies and equipment to various University customers across campus as directed by supervisor or warehouse manager.

Maintains an attitude of teamwork by assisting others as needed throughout the department. Effective communication in person, on telephone, and in writing.

Assist in the processing of incoming replenishment inventory. Material is verified against order to ensure accuracy, received in TMA and then stowed in assigned locations. Contacts vendors to resolve discrepancies and to ensure timely receipt of material.

Assist supervisor in the set up and tear down of chairs in preparation for Graduation ceremonies, Board of Regents meetings, and any other TTU functions as assigned by supervisors.

Provides Customer Service by providing information to customer inquiries and issuing parts requests received through Pick Tickets or Material Requests in TMA.

Complies with all attendance policies and guidelines. Follow internal work rules, safety guidelines and university procedures.

Perform daily maintenance checks on University vehicles (i.e. oil, tire pressure, gas, battery) and submit trip logs monthly to supervisor as required by University policy.

Meet daily deadlines by planning and organizing to ensure high quality of work and quantity of work.

Must have current TX state driver's license and be insurable.

Perform other duties as assigned, including warehouse functions, custodial functions, etc.

Required Qualifications Two years work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications Good customer service, time management, and self-motivation skills.

Can-do attitude, hard working, customer service and sales oriented individual.
