Position Description Performs professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.
Major/Essential Functions Ability to work well independently and make decisions on their own.
Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for data.
Demonstrates the ability to be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL, Database, SQL Reporting Services, Visio & Visual Studio.
Responds to ad-hoc requests for information.
Develops DSS style reports for internal sections and external departments.
Working knowledge of all Planning & Administration Systems, of all internal system database structures, THECB facilities inventory reporting procedures and requirements, as well as the space model and Campus Condition Index.
Reviews the weekly RMS report, completes each task, and updates applicable databases.
Performs other job related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include communicating with people outside the organization, representing the department to the university and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail. An understanding of Data Mining, forecasting, decision support systems, marketing strategy and simulation development.
