Position Description Performs professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.
Major/Essential Functions Assist with/Conduct New Employee Orientation, leadership series and other professional courses to meet university goals. Ensure setup and audiovisual setup are completed for each training/event.
Maintain communication with New Employee Orientation presenters to keep presentations current and error free.
Run monthly Equal Employment Opportunity reports and distribute to university departments. Ensure accuracy of compliance reports and answer employee and departmental compliance questions.
Conduct monthly EEO training and additional EEO training as necessary.
Communicate with employees and departmental leaders to assist with organizational developmental needs. Develop and maintain campus-wide professional relationships.
Research and evaluate innovative teaching strategies and course developmental tools. Maintain inventory of training resources and provide suggestions for up-to-date resources.
Assist with Length of Service and Distinguished Staff Awards events.
Stay current on all federal, state, and university-related laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.
At least two (2) years experience as a training professional
At least two (2) years experience in a customer related field
Experience in curriculum development

Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
