Position Description Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.
*DESIGN PORTFOLIO REQUIRED*
Design and implement web pages, interactive media and multimedia projects.
Consistently meet stated project deadlines.
Ensure branding guidelines are utilized in all projects.
Awareness of current trends in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest design software and an understanding of time limits. Attend professional development conferences.
Actively participate in creative meetings including brainstorming sessions. Bring strong ideas and concepts to the meetings.
Required Qualifications Bachelors degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.
Bachelor's degree required in design-related discipline: graphic, web, or interface design and 3+ years of Web design experience.
Experience in GUI/responsive design, HTML/CSS3, HTML5, PHP, Java Script and JQuery Skillset and CMS.
Efficient in Adobe CS5+, Photoshop, and Illustrator software; convert designs in Photoshop or Illustrator to HTML.
Practical understanding of implementing SEO for web pages,
Understand Browser compatibility issues.
Knowledge of latest trends in web design to create innovative design solutions.
Communicate well with diverse group of employees and customers; take feedback and incorporate into design.
Juggle multiple projects; proactively solve problems; excellent attention to detail.
