Overall Purpose and Objective:

Responsible for providing coverage to the sales districts as needed and for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with lottery personnel and lottery retailers. Manages retailer promotions, training and inventory for their respective district. In addition, responsible for maximizing compliance/sales through following lottery procedures.


  • Manages promotional events and district meeting preparation as needed

  • Maintains appropriate inventory levels of lottery supplies and promotional materials in their districts

  • Provides route coverage for sales/compliance requirements

  • Trains Retailers on new upcoming Lottery Products and answer game related questions

  • Optimizes the inventory mix at retail locations through pack transfers to other retail locations and returns upon the request of the retailer

  • Able to follow all requirements for picking up, transferring and returning Tickets to and from Retailers

  • Recovers tickets from other locations as directed by the lottery.

  • Uses retailer sales terminal to process returns of instant ticket inventory according to processes approved by the Lottery.

  • Ability to follow all lottery procedures such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing and returning tickets to our warehouse

  • Assists lottery personnel with retailer trouble-shooting/chronic retailer issues.

  • Assist with reports and analysis as requested by sales managers

  • Maintain regular (min.​ of weekly), open communications with Sales Manager and Sales, Merchandising and recruiting contact.

  • Assists with other projects as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field

  • A minimum 3 years of sales experience in retail or wholesale sales;

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Essential Special Trainng Requirements

  • Travel with in assigned territory almost 100% of time worked.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

  • Must have a driver’s license and understand vehicle reporting requirements.

  • Must be able to stay overnight

  • Must be able to speak clearly and persuasively with strong interpersonal skills
