Provider Enablement is a brand new division within Anthem, tasked with thinking broadly about how we can better work with providers/to deliver solutions/that drive Value-Based Care. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Partners with Business Development on client engagements and serves as the Provider Enablement product expert Leads and manages the Client Value Statement/Assessment process to assess and deliver recommendations addressing the prioritized needs of the client. This includes coordinating meetings, delivering and facilitating discussions w/ client related to the Client Value Statement/Assessment Process

  • Supports and informs components of product development cycle including strategy, development and implementation of new products or product changes/enhancements for all market offerings

  • Identifies areas for collaboration and co-design of product offerings. Serves as the primary point of contact for external and internal partners

  • Supports business development activities, identifying and presenting offerings to potential provider clients.

  • Identifies key operational processes required to support implementation.

  • Provides analytical support, including creating the business case for new offerings and the analysis and synthesis of complementary programs and initiatives.

  • Triages and ensures successful resolution of any strategic, program and/or implementation challenges.

  • Monitors and reports on status of key deliverables, milestones and dependencies to executive leaders within Anthem and the partnering organization.

  • Partners with business leaders to develop and update an integrated action plan/roadmap for the products


Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 7 years of experience working with executive level staff with broad & deep understanding of the health care industry, product design / development, strategic consulting, competitive intelligence, executive communications, business development and project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience working with healthcare provider-organizations strongly preferred. MBA preferred.
