IES Commercial, Inc., is seeking Journeyman Electricians for work in the Lubbock, TX area.

Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials, and equipment within the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Texas Journeyman Electrician license and the skills to perform the responsibilities of one

  • Work under the direction of job foreman and other supervisors

  • Supervise apprentices assigned to projects

  • Must be able to comprehend and practice safe work procedures as instructed

  • Possess the ability to work from all types of ladders per the safety restrictions on the ladder

  • Operate various types of equipment such as trenchers, scissor lifts, threading equipment, etc.

  • Must be able to operate company vehicles in accordance with vehicle policy

  • Able to work in all types of environmental conditions

  • Must possess a professional, self-motivated, and positive work ethic

  • Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.
