IT Support Technician Position Summary: This position is directly responsible for all installation, configuration, and support of the site's local area network (LAN), office and shop floor IT assets. This includes, but is not limited to User Account Management, Hardware/Software Asset Management, and Software Deployment while ensuring IT assets are well maintained. This position will also coordinate annual hardware roll-outs and software deployment, along with break/fix support for all workstation hardware/software. This position requires an on-call rotating assignment for production critical after-hours issues. Job Responsibilities: Windows Administration Windows 7/10 AD & Group Policy Knowledge XenApp Support Understanding of DNS and DHCP Hardware & Software File/Print Services Lotus Domino NTFS Security / Rights Assignment Smartphones Dell K1000/K2000 Appliances LAN/WAN Administration Basic LAN/WAN Troubleshooting Web Filter/Email Filter Monitoring & Tuning Wireless / Guess Wireless Skills Required: 1+ Years of hands on experience in a Windows Workstation/Server environment Attention to detail and accuracy, commitment to excellence, continuously looks for improvements, finds root cause of problems, owns/acts on problems Understanding of TCP/IP protocol and related hardware Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN) XenApp Administration IBM Domino Server Administration a plus Thermal printer knowledge a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Analytical/Problem solving skills Ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines Strong documentation skills
