Job Description:Clerk to maintain procedures for managing Vital Statistic records, receipting fees and customer service. Serves as records manager for birth, death, marriage license and assumed name documents. Issues marriage licenses, certified copies of marriage licenses, file DD214's & issue certified copy upon request. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. Must be detail oriented and able to type 40 wpm. Must have computer data entry and customer service experience; knowledge of modern office equipment including computer software, calculator, copiers, typewriters & shredders. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; read and understand manuals, instructions and documents. Maintain the ability to stand, walk, kneel, rotate upper trunk right and left and bend during the shift; reach, grip and use fine dexterity; push and pull objects; occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds; use of vision and depth perception. Resume required.
