Position Description Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.
Handle and maintain confidential records on all Texas Tech University prospects and applicants.
Research issues regarding application documents and problem solve; anticipate next steps and prioritize workload.
Answer calls through call center software and provide accurate information to callers regarding TTU processes, policies, and next-steps.
Utilize independent judgment and critical thinking to anticipate next steps and prioritize workload.
Cross train on all process within Undergraduate Admissions processing.
Oversee assigned files as well as a specialization within the unit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processes.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
Must demonstrate working knowledge/proficiency in operation of Microsoft Office Suite, ten key and call center software, as well as admissions policies and procedures, enrollment goals, and university facts.
Ability to learn and become proficient with customer relationship software and various other software applications is required.
Must be able to communicate effectively with prospective students, parents, and other constituents.
Must be comfortable in busy, open concept room with shifting priorities.
Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in post-secondary environment preferred. Previous customer service experience helpful.
