Position Description Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Manages daily operations concerning personnel, office equipment and systems and departmental purchases. This includes but not limited to answering phones, sorting mail, ordering supplies, updating monitor, and greeting customers.
Assist Managing Director with monitoring email, calendars, and delegating tasks on his behalf.
Assist Managing Director in analyzing and upholding Texas Tech Physician Associates (TTPA) bylaws. Coordinate TTPA Board and Support Committee Meetings.Works with Managing Director to assure needs for TTPA Board and Support Committee meetings are fully arranged including Healthnet or conference call connections as needed. Takes and maintains minutes of meetings.
Assist Faculty Recruitment in facilitating faculty candidate visits including travel arrangements, lodging accommodations, and gift baskets.
Process all Travel for Provider Payor Relations staff and reconcile P-Card monthly.
Evaluating departmental budget to determine purchasing needs for the department.
Providers support to TTUHSC, TTPA and UMC administrative staff in scheduling meetings, reserving rooms and other accommodations required to meet needs.
Oversee the routing process for Payor Contracts.
Maintain departmental policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications Completion of high school or the equivalent. Five years office experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in Academic Health Organization. Ability to multi-task, communicate with all levels of staff and faculty (for example: Clinical Coordinators, Coders, Physicians, Executive Staff , Chairs and Regional Deans) arrange travel, source faculty candidates, assist Managing Director with department initiatives. Has an outgoing and friendly disposition.

Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
